Many of you have probably heard the story about the Tennessee man who lost his house because he didn't pay the $75 annual fee for fire services, and lot of online comments we've seen about this have claimed that this is what we could look forward to in a libertarian society.  We take on this view and give you our perspective.

It comes as no shock to listeners of the Libertarian Solution that GM is having some credit rating difficulties, and it's new electric cars aren't exactly up to par.

And finally, are there degrees of libertarianism, or is it "you either are libertarian, or you're not"?

We were pleased to have Dom Sgambellone as a guest on the show this evening, author of the book "The America of My Dreams."  His book does provide some opinion and a bit of a roadmap for America, though not libertarian in nature, and he was an interesting interview.

We also played a clip from Obama regarding the Citizens United decision, and one of Ron Paul being interviewed regarding competing currencies.  Tearing these up is always a blast!

This week, we were pleased to have Jordan Decker on the show.  Jordan won a gold medal title belt in the World Kickboxing Association’s (WKA’s) National Championships in the Juniors’ K-1 Muay Thai Division.  He will be representing the United States in the World Championship next month in Scottland.  The cost of this is $4,000, and he's raising this money on his own via donations without government assistance.  Please visit his website and chip in.

We also continued our discussion on poverty from the previous week.

On this evening's show, we discussed a video on YouTube titled Why I Hate Libertarians.  We felt it was important to discuss this video, not because it had anything relevant to say about libertarianism (it didn't), nor that it struck a chord with rational thinkers (it didn't), nor that it even threatened the ideological movement libertarians pursue (it didn't).  What it did was represent libertarians as mindless cult members, which any reasonable person can see through, including the hypocrisy within the first 30 seconds.

We invited the creator of this video to come on the show so we could discuss his positions, but he beligerantly declined.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Andrea Garcia running in LD18 for the Arizona State Senate against the infamous Russel Pearce (sponsor of SB1070), and Michael Patti running in LD9 for the Arizona State Senate.  Please check out their respective websites to learn more about their campaigns.

We also had the chance to touch on a little bit of basic introductory philosophy, beginning with "axioms."  Hopefully this is something we can expand upon more on next week's show.  We'll also be going more in-depth discussing the nature of coercion.
