December 26, 2009

As we look back on 2009 and see all of the advancements that government growth has made, we find one small bright spot for freedom -- it's now legal to catch rainwater in Colorado.  We examine New Year's resolutions from around the political spectrum (which we plan to continue on next week's episode) and compare them to a more libertarian approach.

The discussion on tonight's episode focused on a potpourri of ideas from CO2 "pollutants", deforestation, Real ID/PASS Act, privacy, and the "public option" in higher education.

December 12, 2009

Jim Peron from Laissez Faire Books joins us to give us an introduction to the upcoming ISIL Retreat, to discuss a historical view of the differences between libertarian (classical liberal), conservative, and socialist (neo-liberal, progressive) philosophies, and then to apply those to foreign policy.

December 5, 2009

As we add KKNT 960 in Phoenix to our radio syndication network, we discuss differences in political ideologies (conservative, liberal, and libertarian) to give our new audience an idea of where we come from and how our support for specific public policy is determined.  The main topic used for demonstration purposes is the War on Drugs, something we hope the "conservative" audience of KKNT will find interesting.

November 19, 2009

We had the pleasure to interview Chris Broughton, the gentleman who brought the AR-15 rifle to the Obama rally in Phoenix several months ago.  He helps to clear up some of the myths that the media has portrayed against him, and we discuss the public response to his actions.  We were quizzed on common libertarian positions and had an opportunity to explain the reasoning behind those positions.
